I will be keeping an eye on how heavy UE5 is cpu wise in actual released products prior to investing into what ever platform I do as well. I'm not really a price/performance kinda guy I usually just grab what is most interesting. I'm waiting for Meteor Lake to decide what my next main PC will be between it and AM5 I will just go with what offers the best performance at the time.
